A successful project starts with the
detail drawings. Critical information to all projects is funneled
through the detailing department and processed accurately to communicate
how to build the finished product and interface with the other trades
that will be directly impacted by the fabricated steel construction.
Good communication must take place between the project management team
and the detailing team to expedite accurate shop drawings and erection
drawings to deliver a finished product to the field. At Ramark,
detailing excellence is second nature because we recognize project
success begins with the detailing team.
Our detailing standards have been developed
over three decades to make the most efficient use of the equipment and
resources in our production facility.
We equip our detailing department with the
latest CAD stations, software, plotters, digital printers, scanners and
internet access. We are equipped with the latest versions of
electronic software and hardware to operate AutoCAD, SSDCP and
SDS.2. This allows us to communicate with our customers
expeditiously and accurately to meet the demanding schedules.
Our detailing trainees go through a
comprehensive training program that includes manual detailing, computer
detailing, connection design, field site experience, shop floor
experience and when possible work in production and estimating
departments. Our detailers understand the downstream use of our
deliverables. |
